Rooted in Faith

Ready for Life

We believe every child is created with God-given potential, and it’s our mission to help them discover and develop it. Through strong academics, daily faith formation and a nurturing community, students grow into confident learners and compassionate leaders.

Here, children don’t just memorize facts—they build character, deepen their faith and learn to serve others. Our teachers guide students to live with purpose and strive for excellence in all they do. OLL provides more than education—it’s preparation for a life rooted in faith, driven by learning and shaped by love.

  • Highlights
      • Our Lady of Lourdes School is accredited by the State of Nebraska and uses the Omaha Archdiocesan standards-based curriculum to drive and focus our instruction.
      • Our academic curriculum includes these core areas: religion, language arts, math, social studies and science.
      • Students take standardized tests three times per year to track their academic progress.

Our Lady of Lourdes is proud to offer the DIBS (Delivering Infinite Book Shelves)-reading program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Through Scholastic books, each classroom receives 200 new books that students can check them out electronically to read at home. The books rotate after a trimester to a new room and teachers and administrators can track as a class the total of books read.

  • Additional Opportunities

      • Twice Weekly Music Classes
      • Twice Weekly Physical Education Classes
    • 2nd & 3rd Grade Marketplace is a unique OLL tradition where students get to experience a day in the life of Jesus’ time. With the support of many volunteers, students divided into tribes, each tribe participates in various activities like breadmaking, tie-dye a shirt, woodworking, seder meal, and a stained glass windows art project.
    • Classroom Buddies: At our school, 8th grade students are paired with Kindergarten buddies, while 7th graders are matched with Pre-K students. These special partnerships create meaningful connections across grade levels. Buddies attend Mass together and enjoy fun holiday activities like painting pumpkins and decorating gingerbread houses. The bond they form is truly unique—it’s not uncommon to see Kindergarteners proudly attending 8th grade graduation or older students supporting their younger buddies at classroom events.

My son is thriving at Our Lady of Lourdes! The faith-based education has grown his love of Christ and his curiosity in the divine. I am constantly impressed with the teachers, the staff and the principal Mrs. Searl. Not only did my son feel immediately welcome and part of the OLL community when he started Kindergarten last year, but I did as well. As a parent, it feels great to send your child to a school where he is safe, seen and invested in. I couldn’t be happier with the experience we are having.
